What is Edu Club?
EduTwitter has some of the best edu-chat in the world, but with only 280 characters to play with, conversations around complex ideas can often stall, and the nuance can easily get lost.
Clubhouse is a new, audio-based social media app (think ‘live Podcast with audience interaction’) that has the potential to help go beyond these limitations and enable EduTwitter to generate even deeper conversations and more productive relations.
Edu Club is an experiment to test that potential. Each week, we’ll explore a different topic with a different group of people. Speakers will kick off the conversation and then bring in a range of audience members as things unfold.
Clubhouse is in ‘Beta’ and is currently invite only, but (if you have an iOS device) you can download the app now, get on the waitlist, and reserve your username.
